Home from Speaking Tour in Australia

David, Christy, & I were excited to return home on Sunday, but we had an amazing time in Australia!

Our Speaking Tour could not have gone better! Our friends, the Vidler’s, arranged a very full schedule for us and as a result hundreds of people heard about the orphans in China and God’s heart for them.

We spoke on the radio, at churches (sometimes 5 or 6 a day!), small groups, special teas and dinners, a large fundraiser dinner, and were featured in the newspaper. And the people there were very receptive to our message; many of them wanted to get involved after hearing about the orphans in China!

One women, Sarah-Jayne, collected items for our fundraiser dinner told us that being involved with Bring Me Hope had changed her life forever! We hope to see more people like Sarah-Jayne moved to help the orphans in China.

Thanks for all your prayers and support!

All for His glory,

Children’s Performance at Camp

I was sorting through some photos from our ’07 summer camp when I came across this short movie clip that a volunteer took of some of the children performing for us.

They all looked adorable up on stage, and the lyrics from the song they sang were very touching, and spoke about being changed by other’s love.

But my favorite part was when the crowd erupted in applause at the end of their song. Like parents at their child’s recital, we were all so proud of these precious children that we had grown to deeply love in one-week’s time. And I’m so glad that the kids had that experience of a room full of people swelling with pride and love for them…

Lake Arrowhead Retreat!

We just got back from Lake Arrowhead, CA for Bring Me Hope’s second annual retreat! It was so refreshing to pull away for a long weekend, and we made many fun memories (like during the group gymnastics routine competition).

Everybody also had a great time with old and new friends, and were blessed to be in the word of God. Thanks for all who came out, and also for those who kept us in prayer!~The BMH team
