Beautiful, 9-year old Faith is a “sweetheart who likes to be hugged.” She likes playing and she loves to eat! Faith also enjoys dancing and listening to music. She can be shy, but interacted well with other children at Bring Me Hope Camp, and learned to ask for hugs from her family group and other volunteers.
Faith has cerebral palsy, so she walks with a bit of a limp and is cautious going down stairs. She is mostly independent with self-care, and she is able to walk without help. Faith also has some developmental delays. However, Faith is not defined by her diagnoses! She needs a family to love her, stand up for her, encourage her, and help her blossom.
At camp, Faith developed a bond of trust and respect with her volunteer buddies. This friendly girl would ask to hold hands with her buddy, and although she can be timid, she would talk about things that were going on around them. Faith also learned to share and was willing to share her food.
As one volunteer says: “In a word, she is a really sweet girl.” Faith is waiting for her family to see her and run to her! Could you be the one who gets to see this beautiful smile every day? The family to bring her personality to life through love?
